The good news is, you’ve got options

If you don’t live within driving distance, there are two major ways to get to Santa Fe.

FLY TO SANTA FE AIRPORT (SAF)
A great option that has you land 8 minutes from the home in an airport so small it almost feels private. Unfortunately, direct flights for now only come from Dallas, Phoenix, or Denver… we’re on the case to try and nag them into getting routes from other cities too!

Once you land in Santa Fe, Lyft and Ubers are available to take you to Rancho los Soñadores (please remind them to drive slowly cause of the ‘lil puppers on the road leading up to the house) or you can call New Mexico Black Car at (505) 316-1100 for a taxi. There are no rental car facilities at the airport, but Hertz and Avis are not far away.

FLY TO ALBUQUERQUE SUNPORT AIRPORT (ABQ)
The easiest option as far as direct flights from most cities. ABQ is a quiet, nice airport that’s easy to navigate and only 45-50mins away. Once you land, you’ve got four options to get to Santa Fe:

#1 Rental Car
Located at the airport and accessible via shuttle. Best to make a reservation in advance to guarantee a car.

#2 Sandia Shuttle
This shuttle service drives back and forth from Santa Fe to ABQ all day long. It’s about $36 dollars a person, which can be pricier than a rental car if you’re traveling with more than two people, but very convenient if you don’t want to drive and have a small group. Shuttle service from the airport begins at 4:45 AM and ends at 12:30 AM. But they only drop off at certain hotels and places in town, so you will still have to take a Lyft or Uber to the property. Book online here.

#3 The Rail Runner
The cheapest, cutest option. Take the train to the Santa Fe South Capitol Station. You’ll still have to take an Uber or Lyft to the property, but the train ride is only $9 per person and if you have cash, you can pay on the train. Once you land, there’s a shuttle from the airport to the train station depot in downtown ABQ. Make sure you check your landing time - the trains don’t have as extensive schedules as the Sandia Shuttle, so if you can, reverse engineer that landing time to give you time to take the train. It takes a little longer than driving, but it’s so nice and quiet. They only have one rule - no taking pictures of the pueblos you travel through. Keep your ears peeled for the roadrunner noise the doors make as they open and close. Check out schedules here.

See you soon!
